"Wrestler Sebastian Rivera Wins Bronze 🥉 Medal In The Men's Freestyle 65KG Against Tomor-Ochiryn Tulga At Paris Olympics"

Sebastian Rivera who is a wrestler from Toms River New Jersey has a fantastic resume already by getting the World Silver 🥈 Medalist in 2023 as he represented Puerto Rico at the 2024 Summer Olympics. Also in 2023 Rivera had the opportunity to be at Central American and Caribbean games. His father Stephen Rivera who owns a place called Elite Wrestling in Jackson New Jersey has a strong community around them and doing great things as a family. The Rivera family is all about helping out the youth, learning leadership, working as a team and making a positive impact. UFC Hall Of Famer and our friend Frankie Edgar has been a big support for them while at Rutgers University also with coach Scott Goodale.

Sebastian Rivera had a fantastic wrestling career with Rutgers University as he learned from the best coaches around him. Son of Melissa and Steve Rivera … Steve Rivera was a Division III national champion at The College of New Jersey and was inducted into the NWCA Division III Hall of Fame in 2018. Sebastian improved every year throughout his Rutgers career becoming one of the top wrestlers in college. Rivera has worked hard getting to this point and making his family proud right now. Coach Goodale does a great job prepping his wrestlers before a big match as he helped Sebastian succeed at a high level. Having Frankie Edgar, his father Stephen and Scott showing support for him is huge.

This year was the 2024 Paris Olympics as Sebastian Rivera had an opportunity to be part it with wrestling. Rivera represented Puerto Rico as his family and friends were in attendance also. It is a cool story to see someone from Toms River New Jersey that went to Rutgers University having a chance to win a medal. He had some tough competition throughout the Olympics but never gave up and kept going. Rivera ended up beating Tömör-Ochiryn Tulga from Mongolia as he won the Bronze 🥉 Medal for team Puerto Rico. What an amazing achievement for him, his family and friends in New Jersey.

Shout-out to our friend Kevin Burkert who set up a surprise parade near their house in Toms River as a lot of people showed up to support Sebastian Rivera winning the Bronze Medal. It was a fantastic time as I did an interview with him and Jersey Sports Zone was their also. Rivera became the first ever Rutgers wrestler to win a medal at an Olympics which is amazing and remarkable. After the parade they had another celebration for Sebastian at the Elite Wrestling place and honoring him more getting that Bronze 🥉 Medal. This family is amazing, inspiring, hard working and shows love to everyone.
