On Saturday, November 11, Big Shots Restaurant and Lounge, KD Sports Promotions, and NR Media hosted an event featuring seven-time All-Star, two-time NBA Champion and Hall of Famer, Walt “Clyde” Frazier. New York Knicks fans traveled to the bar in Iselin, NJ excited to meet the iconic franchise idol.
Between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., Frazier enthusiastically interacted with his supporters and fans. He autographed basketballs, photographs, jackets and jerseys and then posed for a picture showcasing both of his championship rings. Frazier’s friendliness and thoughtful personality led him to engage in conversations with the Knicks community and listen to their stories.
At the conclusion of the signing, members of the NR Media team sat down with the NBA Legend for a live interview. Frazier responded to questions about his time playing under the bright lights of New York and shared his experiences playing in multiple NBA finals. He generously offered advice to young athletes who dream about being in his shoes one day. Throughout the interview, Frazier was extremely personable and our team could not thank him enough for his time.
