Here is a little background on how the Woodbridge Brewing Company started. It was established in 1997 with the original name being J.J. Bitting Brewing Company. They became the first brewery to operate in Woodbridge Township. New Jersey since the repeal of prohibition in 1933. Before all of this happened, the building used to be a grain depot which was storing coal and feed. Some people say it became haunted after what happened with the grain depot. But it's remarkable how it transformed over the years and became a fan favorite.
The J.J. Bitting Brewing Company was known for family dinners, refreshing ice cold beer or hosting special events. This place is all about helping out everyone, making it fun, comfortable and a fantastic experience for all the people. It is located at 33 Main Street which is a perfect area because a lot of people are around that section with the train, walking or other places next to the Brewing Company. This building has been through a lot of changes over the past years but still the same outside since 1997. They have tons of beer, food options that people can choose from on their menu.
Over the past few years this place is now called the Woodbridge Brewing Company owned by Mihir Thakkar, Steven and Rosanne Galtes. They have been doing a fantastic job of keeping this Brewery intact coming with ideas that will keep people satisfied. This place is only known for Beer and great food but last year in 2023 they started doing something different which is now turned into something huge and special for them. That is autograph signings, meet and greet appearances with athletes from different sport. This all started with Yankees catcher Jose Trevino being the first event in Woodbridge Brewing Company history. They didn't know how well the turnout would be at first but with them promoting and letting fans know helped out big time.
After the signing with Jose Trevino, they started to reach out to other athletes trying to convince them to come here at Woodbridge Brewing Company. The next one was Trevino's former teammate Luis Severino which was another successful one. Then after a while it took off from there with all athletes loving this place, meeting fans and enjoying the moment. I am glad to be part of something special now with these events as Media and helping them out grow even more. Shout-out to Mihir, Steven and Rosanne for making Woodbridge Brewing Company the hot spot once again with these amazing events.
