"Story On New York Giants Fan Edward Magenheimer Who Was A EX Fire Chief"

New York Giants fan Edward Magenheimer has a great story that will always be remembered with their franchise. Magenheimer who is a 25 year veteran fireman of Shrewsbury New Jersey Hose Company No. 1. Magenheimer has a unique fire hat with Giants logos around the whole helmet. He took his fire helmet to a signing which had Justin Tuck make an appearance during that event. Magenheimer painted the fire helmet in big blue colors and Tuck was impressed when he saw it.

It gets interesting as Tuck started to ask questions to Magenheimer about his fire helmet. He wanted to wear it while running out of the tunnel to honor 9/11. What a way to make a positive impact and wear Ed Magenheimer's fire helmet which became a big hit. He didn't know if Tuck would wear the helmet but the Giants introduced Tuck out of the tunnel last and there he was wearing Magenheimer's helmet to honor 9/11. New York Giants ended up beating the Carolina Panthers 31-18 that day after Tuck was wearing the helmet before this game.

Ed Magenheimer's fire helmet was good luck in my opinion as the New York Giants won their fourth Lombardi Trophy in Super Bowl XLVI. All the Giants fans knows about the legendary picture of Justin Tuck wearing Magenheimer's fire helmet with everyone wanting one including Ed's son. This became one of the best father/sons stories as they have a fan cave in Eatontown New Jersey. Not only Magenheimer has all Giants items, he also got a collection of Hess Toy Trucks. Both father and son has been going to Giants games/training camps over the years.

I had the opportunity to meet Ed Magenheimer and his son at one of the training camps this year while covering it for my Media Company. Our friend Jasmeet Singh spoke highly of Magenheimer and being one of the passionate fans along with Singh/License The Plate Guy. Magenheimer mentioned that he has a dollar bill underneath MetLife Stadium field. During training camp, I interviewed Magenheimer and his son while Jasmeet took the video for us. It was a great segment as he talked about his story, how he became a Giants fan and what stood out at camp this season.
