On Saturday, Sept. 30, Jim Dowd came to Woodbridge Brewing Co. for an autograph signing and meet-and-greet. Fans got to know the 17-year NHL veteran and Stanley Cup champion as he signed many unique items.

The signing took place between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. in the upstairs portion of Woodbridge Brewing Co. Dowd grew up in Brick, NJ, and played six seasons with the New Jersey Devils.  The Jersey legend attracted a large, local fanbase to the event.

Dowd signed an array of interesting items including small photos of himself for most fans, along with whatever they brought in. Notably, one fan brought in a miniature replica Stanley Cup along with a Jim Dowd bobblehead from his high school. Dowd’s signature made it onto paintings, jerseys, and pucks showing the diverse amount of items brought to the event.

Dowd’s Stanley Cup championship ring made its way to Woodbridge in every picture he took with fans. In each photo, he made sure to showcase his 1994-95 ring.

During the signing, Dowd sat down for an interview with the NR Media team.  He answered questions about his incredible hockey journey, shared insights about his Stanley Cup experience and reflected on some of his teammates.

The NR Media team extends sincere thanks to the owners and staff of Woodbridge Brewing Co. We also appreciate Jim Dowd for coming out and engaging with Devil Fans. Join us at Woodbridge Brewing Co. on Sunday, Oct. 8, as we will be covering the Leonard Marshall meet-and-greet and autograph signing.
