"Pietra Tordin Gets Her First Hat Trick And Ties Single Game Record With Most Goals For Princeton"

It was the Pietra Tordin show yesterday for Princeton women's soccer against Army West Point live from Roberts Stadium as She got her first hat trick and tied single game record with most goals for Princeton. Tordin is only a sophomore coming off a fantastic freshman season winning Ivy League Rookie Of The Year and finishing with 8 goals. Pietra Tordin worked hard during the off season improving her skills and got even better while still learning as a player.


Princeton did a great job of finding open opportunities for Tordin to score on the pitch and setting up key assists against Army West Point's defense. At the 8th minute Pietra scored her fourth goal of the season assisted by Kate Toomey to give momentum early. Then during the 63rd minute Tordin got her fifth goal with an assist from Kayla Wong. The 76th minute Tordin's teammates Lexi Hiltunen and Heather McNabb set her up with fantastic assists getting sixth goal of season and first career hat trick.


Army West Point gets called on a penalty at the 83rd minute then Tordin gets the call and puts it in getting the single game record with most goals for Princeton. Pietra Tordin now has 7 this season and 15 goals in her career only being a sophomore. With this win Princeton improves to 3-0-1 on the season.
