New York Jets were playing in London last weekend against the Minnesota Vikings but this didn't stop their star defensive back Sauce Gardner meeting fans the next day live at Woodbridge Brewing Company. Gardner was ready for this event as he posted the flyer on his Instagram story and set to travel back to New Jersey. Woodbridge Brewing Company staff workers, fans, Rosanne, Steven and owner Mihir Thakkar was pumped up also for the event. The signing was upstairs inside as people were waiting outside also to meet him. They had a fantastic turnout while having Monday night football and MLB playoffs going on at the same time.
Sauce Gardner is one of the best defensive backs in the NFL right now while only being 24 years old and already has a fantastic resume. Gardner grew up in Detroit Michigan with his brother, rep and VP of Vayner Sports Allante Gardner and went to Martin Luther King Jr. High School. He also played wide receiver along with cornerback in highschool before being a defensive back full time. Gardner has an inspiring family and seeing him working with his brother, it is just awesome. He went to Cincinnati to play college football putting up incredible numbers. Then Gardner got drafted in 2022 round 1 pick number 4 by the New York Jets.
MLSE signings and Vayner Sports brought Sauce Gardner to this event as they got set up, ready to go. Sauce Gardner enjoyed meeting all of his fans at the Woodbridge Brewing Company, signing autographs, taking pictures and interacting with them. Shout-out to our friend Sean Salci, Matt from MLSE signings, Sauce's brother Allante Gardner VP of Vayner Sports for a fantastic event. This was huge for owner Mihir Thakkar, Woodbridge Brewing Company and rest of staff as everyone did a great job working as a team. Our friend Shawn from Brooklyn Classics with another great merchandise selection for the fans during this event.
During the event I had the opportunity of interviewing Sauce Gardner's brother, rep and VP of Vayner Sports Allante Gardner about their journey/story. He talked about Sauce's career so far, being VP of Vayner Sports, childhood memories, helping out the community and having a foundation. This was a fantastic conversation as I learned a lot about them and their family. They both work hard, making things happen and achieving that one goal. Allante also talked about working with Gary Vee who I also had the opportunity to interview.
Allante Gardner also played football, his position was running back/wide receiver at Lakeland University and Saginaw Valley State. Participated in 11 games for the Cardinals as a wide receiver...returned 19 kickoffs for 314 yards during his freshman campaign...averaged 16.5 yards per kickoff return and 28.5 all-purpose yards per game on the year...played on the special teams unit and recorded four tackles during the season...had a season-high 75 total kickoff return yards in a home win against Lake Erie (Sep. 28).
Participated in 11 games for Saginaw Valley as a running back...totaled 115 rushes and 448 yards during his sophomore campaign...added 1 touchdown against Lake Erie (Oct 18), and also had 59 yards that game. Allante and Sauce Gardner made each other better as brothers growing up. Allante is proud of his brother and recognizes how hard Sauce works to get better everyday as a player. Both brothers are succeeding at a high level and their parents must be proud of them where they are at now.
I also did a short segment with Sauce Gardner after the event while walking outside and it was great connecting with him also. They have a foundation called The Sauce Gardner Foundation which Allante also brought up during our segment.
The Sauce Gardner Family Foundation is a community outreach organization created by New York Jets cornerback Ahmad "Sauce" Gardner:
Football camp
The foundation's football camp helps under-resourced teens in Detroit, Michigan. The camp includes drills, leadership discussions, work ethic discussions, and education discussions.
Community outreach
Gardner wants to help under-resourced communities and the new generation. He has also gifted 25 Detroit PAL Youth with Microsoft Surface laptops and signed t-shirts and footballs for the children.

Gardner received some credits through his foundation while earning his Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of Cincinnati. (https://www.ppf.org/roster-list/the-sauce-gardner-family-foundation)
