What a way to open the new highschool basketball season for Middletown South girls at home against Marlboro by getting a dominant 50-20 victory. They were unstoppable on offense with hitting the three pointers, having success close to the basket and their defense was outstanding. Marlboro starting off strong Keep up with the pace early in this game finding good looks and creating for each other. But Middletown South was just on another gear which took over this game. Middletown South kept on hitting the three pointers, close up jump shots and finding open teammates.

Marlboro had chances to cut the deficit but they were having trouble converting on open shots and missing easy layups at the basket. Middletown South also did a fantastic job of drawing fouls, converting and extending their lead in multiple ways. Middletown South just had a better game plan throughout this whole game which lead to the 30 point victory. They had big contributions from their key players yesterday against Marlboro and played great team baseball. This team has a chance to make some noise during the season if they stay healthy and played like last night.
