Jackson Memorial Jaguars girls basketball opened up the season on Friday at home with a big statement win over Lacey winning 57-21. Coach Rachel Goodale has a talented roster once again even though she lost a couple of players to college and they did not disappoint on Friday. Stephanie, Justin and Khani does a fantastic job helping out Rachel on the coaching staff getting all their players ready for each game. Jaguars Nation is always there to support them and give motivation.
Lacey kept the game close early at 3-2 but Jackson Memorial took off from there and never looked back after that. The Jaguars kept hitting the three pointers which was big in this game while Lacey struggled on defense and offense. Jackson Memorial put all the pressure from the start, playing great team basketball, drawing fouls and didn't let Lacey get easy shots. The three point line was a great success for Jackson as they kept extending their lead and Lacey had no chance of coming back.
Jackson Memorial Jaguars girls basketball dominated every quarter in this matchup which helped them get the statement win. Lacey only put up 21 points while they gave up 57. Jaguars had a fantastic game plan in this game, stuck with it, played their own game and stayed focused which helped them get this victory. Coach Rachel Goodale gives her players confidence and they love playing for Rachel. This game gave them all the momentum for rest of season and can build off from it.
