Toms River South and Jackson Memorial were both undefeated coming into this matchup. The Indians are coached by Tara Murray and Jaguars is coached by Brittany Corti. South got off to a quick start against Jackson's defense as they moved the ball well early and winning faceoffs. Jaguars had trouble with fouls being called against them which could have been debatable and South took advantage of it. Their offense was unstoppable as they were on Jackson's side most of the time winning time of possession.

Madeline Krohn, Eva Kurl, Brooke Picca and Alyssa Kromer all scored goals for South as three of them had multiple ones in this game against Jackson. First half was all Toms River South as the Jaguars needed to make some adjustments. Jackson's defense was decent but it was just the calls from refs and not covering at right moment. In the second half South still had success scoring at a high rate in third period but Jackson Jaguars did a great job of keeping them to single digit points. South's defense started to stall for a little bit as they let the Jaguars get back into this game.

Jackson made it interesting late in this game as they cut to three but South never lost composure and were able to hold on at the end. They improve to 2-0 this season with a 9-6 victory over Jaguars at home with great offensive flow, key stops on defense and working as a collective group.
