The 86 New York Mets championship team was at Woodbridge Brewing Company this weekend meeting all their fans. They had this event on Saturday and Sunday as it was packed with a lot of Mets fans. This reunion for them is extra special because the New York Mets are currently playing against Los Angeles Dodgers in 2024 NLCS. 86 Mets team had one of the best rosters with all legends including Keith Hernandez, Howard Johnson, Doc Gooden, Darryl Strawberry, Mookie Wilson and others. Woodbridge Brewing Company also had game one of the NLCS against Mets and Dodgers yesterday while event was still going on.
In Sports it is all about capturing the moment and yesterday their was an amazing thing that happened in back patio outside at Woodbridge Brewing Company. Long time Mets fan was with her family sitting at the table, not expecting anything as they had two surprises coming. Doc Gooden and Darryl Strawberry ended up coming outside to surprise her/the family, She was happy, grateful and excited for this awesome moment. Gooden/Strawberry sat with her signing autographs, pictures for them. This is a memory that most people will never forget as it meant a lot to her and the family.
Our friends Niko from Neeks Customs, Cooper and Carter from Double Trouble Sports was in attendance also. Niko made some awesome custom sneakers for Cooper/Carter they revealed them outside of Woodbridge Brewing Company. Cooper got a Dallas Cowboys sneaker 👟 as Carter got a San Francisco 49ers sneaker 👟 from Niko. They loved it with both of them trying the shoes on. Woodbridge Brewing Company had a great weekend with the 86 Mets team as their fans enjoyed it also.
