Caldwell Women's Soccer hosted a huge game this weekend against Georgian Court as both teams coming in are have great seasons so far. Caldwell would clinch a CACC Tournament Berth with this victory against Georgian Court. These teams match up well with great talent on the field and fantastic coaches. The biggest key to this game is defense and who can start off quick getting momentum right away. They are well prepared teams when it comes to being ready for big games like this one.
Georgian Court couldn't really get anything going as Caldwell took advantage getting on the board first at 16:01 with a goal from Rosio Cardenas and assisted by Suri Silva. Caldwell did a great job of knowing where to go setting up teammates against the Lions defense. Second half they kept playing their own game as Taina Gervais put Caldwell up 2-0 at 45:43 and made it tough for them even more. Caldwell's dominated with shots on goal during second half which gave better looks. At the 88:10 mark Melissa Martinez put the icing on cake extending the lead to 3-0, assisted by Rosio Cardenas.
