"Alec Rodriguez And The Trenton Thunder's Bullpen Throws A 2 Hit Shutout Against West Virginia Black Bears"

Trenton Thunder improves to 3-1 (17-19 overall) starting off the second half strong. They finished this series against West Virginia Black Bears on a high note before their day off. The thunder had Alec Rodriguez pitching for them who is a Cherry Hill New Jersey native and went to Saint Josephs. Rodriguez coming into this game was struggling a little bit and looking to start off better. Alec had a great outing yesterday as he pitched 5 innings for the first time in his career.

The Thunder's offense did a fantastic job of extending leads throughout this game, giving their pitchers confidence and making it easier for them. Trenton gets a 5-0 victory over West Virginia Black Bears and now on a 3 game win streak.

Alec Rodriguez (2-1) 5.0 innings, 2 hits, 0 runs, 0 er, 2 walks and 4 strikeouts

Jacob Denner (H, 1) 2.0 innings, 0 hits, 0 runs, 0 er, 1 walk and 2 strikeouts

Devin Rivera 1.0 innings, 0 hits, 0 runs, 0 er, 0 walks and 0 strikeouts

Ethan Bradford 1.0 innings, 0 runs, 0 er, 1 walk and 1 strikeout

Jack O'Reilly had 3 rbis for Trenton Thunder yesterday as he had great at bats against the Black Bears pitching.

After the game, I had the opportunity to interview Alec Rodriguez about his dominant performance, the bullpen, their offense, starting the second half strong, coaching staff and up coming games against Mahoning Valley.
