Yesterday 2X World Series Champion and New York Mets legend third baseman Howard Johnson made an appearance at Beach Heaven Moose Lodge where he sighed autographs/took pictures with the fans. Beach Haven Moose Lodge is a company that operates in the Nonprofit Organizations industry. It employs 6-10 people and has $0M-$1M of revenue. The company is headquartered in Manahawkin, New Jersey. They have done other signings before with players that is put together by James Soubasis, Neil Castellano and Jeff Hestnes.
I had the opportunity to help out with Media Coverage for them with Howard Johnson which went fantastic. They had a great turnout for Johnson with fans waiting in line, the card show that was going on also and people have an awesome time. Everything was organized, ready to go, the line was moving for Howard Johnson and it is nice to see the passion when people collect sports cards that has former and current players on them. Johnson was interacting with the fans, stayed till everyone was done getting things signed and he loved the atmosphere. Jeff, James and Neil did a remarkable job of hosting this event for all the fans.
At the end of event, Howard Johnson signed all remaining pictures and items. After all that, I did a sit down interview with him talking about the experience of Beach Heaven Moose Lodge 1575, his best moments winning the two world series championships, his teammate John Franco, Bret Batty who is currently the Mets third baseman and toughest pitcher he had to face in his career. Johnson answered every question, it was awesome and a great segment. I want to give a big shout-out to Neil Castellano and James Soubasis for making this happen and looking forward to more events with you guys.

The History Of Moose Lodges
In the early years, the Moose was to serve a modest goal of offering men an opportunity to gather socially, to care for one another’s needs and celebrate life together. Since those early years, their fraternal organization rapidly expanded to include valuable service to communities, care for children and teens in need at Mooseheart Child City & School , a 1,000-acre campus, located 40 miles west of Chicago and care for senior members at Moosehaven, a 70-acre retirement community near Jacksonville, Florida.
With a membership of over 1,000,000 members, our presence is felt in over 1,500 communities across all 50 states and four Canadian provinces, plus Great Britain. The Moose organization contributes between $75 to $100 million worth of community service (counting monetary donations, volunteer hours worked and miles driven) annually.
In addition to Mooseheart and Moosehaven, the Moose Fraternity’s Heart of the Community effort is multifaceted with internally developed programs like Tommy Moose. Tommy Moose aids in helping children overcome fears and anxiety during times of stress. Donated to law enforcement, fire fighters and other emergency workers, Tommy Moose plush dolls are presented to children in various traumatic situations. The external focus of service is directed towards many worthwhile national charities, a few of which are: Salvation Army, Safe Surfin’ USA Foundation, Big Brothers-Big Sisters, and St. Jude.
In local Lodges, you will find a wide array of activities to participate in both as an individual and as a family. From holiday parties, dances, sports, themed dinners and live entertainment, the Moose has much to offer. Membership can mean different things to different people. You are the one determining what you want to get out of the organization, and what you want to give back.
The Moose is about celebrating life together, serving those in need within our local community, supporting our children at Mooseheart and standing by our senior members at Moosehaven (https://www.mooseintl.org/about-us/).
